Nice camera took the result of your portrait...:-)
Lena..
OMG, you are selling something from your collection. Good luck Warren. I can't say I blame you. My film work is few and far between now. Nice self portrait btw.

I wouldn't mind this as a hobby.. Which glasses say what... ;) A really cool play with geometries and space. Good eye Warren!
Warren,
They always say to watch for things coming out of your subjects head. I really like the dots on the board coming out of her head. Looks like a thought board...."I hope she likes these glasses, I need to go on break".

Is that "ein roter Punkt" I see on Dan's camera in the last photo!? ;-)
I like the last shot with the edges.

Hah! Spy VS spy, micro four thirds edition!
Wish I coulda joined you! Glad to see Lea made it to San Francisco again. A great photo of both Gail & Lea.
Steve, Lea lives in Palo Alto, CA now.
BTW, I just about fell off my chair when I found out on RFF that Ted bought a micro 4/3 body. Ted has been a very outspoken critic of the format. As it turns out, we have a large concentration of micro 4/3 users here on FPCF (or were formerly on FPCF):
- Me (G1, GF1)
- Dan (GH2)
- Lea (GF2)
- Ted (forgot which one)
- Benson (G1, G3)

Oops, I forgot Dolph just bought one:
- Me (G1, GF1)
- Dolph (GX1)
- Dan (GH2)
- Lea (GF2)
- Ted (forgot which one)
- Benson (G1, G3)

Very nice composition and great B&W
Was Dan really taking a photo or just sneaking a sample.....both would be enjoyable.

Great portrait... great image. Tells a story (I don't know if Dan really is devilish, but the photo surely does tell that story.)
I like the contrast to the very prim lady in bonnet behind him, too :-)
lol! I think the devilish "prim lady" is controlling his mind and he is a puppet. It even looks like her hands are up by her face, pulling on the strings to make him smile :) Very strange and enjoyable! :D haha

I especially like the compostion of the tree trunk and exposed wood, nicely done Warren. The arch is very appealing as well
Dan
The tree did come out really well. I post mine when i get back home in a couple of weeks. The picture with the flowers and the ocean in the back ground came out really nice, with great colors framed with the rocks. The picture of the flower that is framed by the open window i'll post but I think your came out better with the sky. A great afternoon and lots of fun.
I like the last one too, it has a nice place to settle into for focus. And the stripped area does provide a nice leading line as Dan pointed out.

Warren, I like the colors of the various handrails and their affect on the overall compostion. Too bad the blue rail ended up so close to your head, it is a little distracting.
Dan
I shot a few different versions here, I'll post them when I have some time.
Warren
very cool, I really like it!
The way you incorporated the railings, with the different colors and the Z-shape (there goes that Z-shape thing I have again!) is great.
I also like the way that the intervening glass make you partially ghostly ;-)

I like your shot better than mine because you captured the street in the background.
