Wary Eyes

Lumix DMC-G5, Lumix 45-200mm

We saw this cat in La Roque-Gageac, France. La Roque is next to the Dordogne River.

It was not happy that the dog was behind it.

America's Cup Park 3D

Hi, I took these 3D photos on July 23rd.  Italy lost this round to New Zealand.  You would need a blue/red viewer to see the effect.

We were having a picnic lunch when this cardinal visited us. Dolph should remember it. Dolph, did you get any shots of it?

Thanks for the comments. It was exciting to see a cardinal because we don't have them here at home on the West Coast.

The Lone Cypress Lookout Point, Carmel, CA

Lumix G5, Lumix 14-45mm

(Edited 7/13/2013 with corrections)

Oops! I changed the title to this because this tree is not THE Lone Cypress, but another tree that is near to the actual tree.

This was shot last March, yes it was a long time ago, but I have not had time to post it until now. We just returned from our 3 month trip to Europe.

We were in Carmel in March, and decided to see 17-Mile Drive again.

Nice silhouette Warren, as a point of clarification I believe prior to its demise it was a Monterey Pine. I like how the rail frames the trunk and leads your eye up to the canopy. Good composition.

I down loaded and blew up the image and you are right Warren it is a Cypress.

Whoops, so much for the Tree Expert moniker.
