Services

Voigtlander Bessa R, Voigtlander 35mm f2.5

Shooting the test roll of film gave me an opportunity to shoot some street stuff, and it felt good to practice it with film and a rangefinder. Actually, it really doesn't matter what kind of camera! Just get out there, and shoot already!

I ran a test roll through this camera because I will be selling it soon. Here's a typical "in the mirror" self portrait.

OMG, you are selling something from your collection. Good luck Warren. I can't say I blame you. My film work is few and far between now. Nice self portrait btw.

I could tell without looking at the byline that it was a WarrenT shot by the wonderful B&W tones! Very nice composition, too, and it conveys a nice, almost bittersweet emotion.

Warren scores on all counts! :-)

I love the conflict between the windmill and the leaves. The trees seem to be trying to push forward, while the mill spins them back.. all while keeping its sharp blade handy just incase one manages to get by.

Lunch at SFMOMA Cafe

The RFF folks at lunch:

I brought a 1930's vintage 120 rollfilm folding camera, an original Voigtlander Bessa, to the event. We loaded it there and shot a roll at lunch, and generally passed it around as a curio for everyone to check out.:

Self Portrait at SF Art Institute

Voigtlander Bessa R, 35mm f2.5 Skopar, Fuji 400 Print Film
This image was suggested by my wife, Gail, who has a very good "eye" for interesting scenes. We have done some good collaborations together where she would suggest an idea, then I would complete the thought photographically.
