Bee -- Mesa Verde National Park

Nikon D100, Tamron 24-135mm

Just for some variety, I thought I'd post this macro shot that I took while on vacation last May. Towards the end of our hike on the Petroglyph Trail at Mesa Verde National Park, I came upon a patch of wildflowers.

I really like this photo. The bee is so clear you can see individual hairs. I don't see you do too many macro shot, Warren. This is nice.

Warren this is SUCH A CUTE PICTURE! I love the light blue sky and the other flowers blurred in the background. And the detail you got on the bee is just amazing! It's really great, almost playful :D

His eyes are shiney :P awwww, he is so fuzzy :)

Really nice pic Warren!

Wow, thanks for the kind words!

This is why I don't like to walk too fast when out for a hike. You never know what nature will offer up, and I don't want to miss it when it happens :).
