Approaching Fort Point
Nikon F4s, Nikkor 50mm f1.8D, Fuji HQ 200For those of you who are not familiar with the area, here's a wider shot showing where Fort Point is situated. It was built to defend the entrance to San Francisco Bay with 3 stories (4 including the roof) of cannon ports facing the water.

Very nice pic Warren!
It is very easy to feel like I'm there standing watching those waves crash agains the side of the walkway. Maybe because it is taken low to the ground? ..Were you sitting on the edge while you took the photo?
I like that it's black and white too. There is a lonely majestic feeling to this picture. The fog... The water... The man-made structure... yet no people. But wait, is that a cigarette butt?
It's a very intriguing photo :)
