Twig & Cones

I was taking a walk through a park in Bellevue with my boyfriend when I found these little cones hanging on a tree. All the needles had turned a rusty orange colour. I cropped the photo to try to make the line of cones feel elongated.

The crop does accentuate the lines. This is interesting because cones are usually seen on the ground.

Lea, this is a great late fall photo. We have a large pine tree in the back yard where have to pick up hundreds of these that fall in the summer. They fill up a couple of yard waste bins, but this past year we found a school that could use them for projects.
