Same photo as Warren

Here's the same photo that Warren posted earlier. It's pretty much the same but my saturation is a tad more. If you look at the buildings on the hill, some appear bluish. - Eric

Interestingly, big difference between this photo and Warren's photo of the same scene. I would have thought they were from different places if not for the commentary. Color is different on the center building, definitely brick on Warren's and possibly an orange stucco on this one. Also less clarity on the buildings on the hill. Just very interesting how the same scene is interpreted differently by each camera. Too bad I couldn't join you guys to get another interpretation.

Benson, are you still on the East Coast trip? We'll definitely have to organize another photo expedition for the Bay Area chapter of FPCF!

The color is a bit oversaturated on this one, and the balance is off just a tad. The center building was red brick. Maybe the camera's white balance was fooled.

Yes, it was a lot of fun, and viewing different viewpoints and different camera outputs is very interesting. I was also shooting my Nikon F3HP with 50mm f1.4 and Kodak C-41 process B&W film that day, but I have not finished the roll yet. We'll see what those pictures look like too.

Actually, I was messing around with the saturation and wanted a different look. Some call it artistic license - but not me. I just call it screwing around.

Oh, never mind then :).

I didn't realize you were experimenting with the color.

The whole saturation tool in Photoshop is very interesting. You can really create some cool colors and really change the feel of a photo. Same with the saturation tool in Picasa.
