Under the Boardwalk

On Sunday, I went out to Crissy Field with my wife. This is a photo of one of the walkways. Crissy Field has really improved over the years. The Golden Gate National Recreation Area, I believe, really fixed the area up and now lots of people go walking, running, biking, and generally having a good time down there. It's a wonderful place by the Bay, and it's definitely a place to go when visiting the city. You can walk out to the Golden Gate Bridge and to an old Civil War fort called Fort Point. It was built to keep an eye out for Confederate Raiders during what some called "The Late Unpleasantness."

Eric,

Until you leave the Bay Area you do not realize how beautiful this picture is. Thank you for this wonder shot.

Wow, thank you, Dolph. I've lived in Massachusetts, Colorado, and here. I love the Bay Area. It is a beautiful place.
