Anyway, does anyone know their trees? What kind are these?
(These were on a tree by the Merced River, Yosemite.)

Actually, I thought they were pineapples when I first saw the pic. Guess this is what you see when you mix a pine tree and an apple tree...a pineapple tree. Huh???
