Looking out the window

It's Fleet Week in San Francisco and the Blue Angles were practicing today. Here's a quick snap from outside of my office. I had my 70-200 with me but really needed my 100-400. 1/800s f/5.6 ISO400 200mm. Yeah, I needed 1/2000 or better for that shot. There's always tomorrow.

Cool! I always like to see the vapor clouds surrounding the planes when they go at high speeds.

We had a few postings from previous Fleet Weeks, like this one: http://fpcf.blogspot.com/2005/10/stacked-angels.html

I may try to get out there tomorrow to see the Angels practicing. There's also qualifying heats for the Red Bull Air Race tomorrow.

Wow, looks like it's about to go to warp 1. Cool shot.
