Wildflowers at Marin Headlands

Nikon F2, unknown lens, expired Kodak slide film

I shot this during a hike in the Marin Headlands (north of the Golden Gate Bridge) a while back.

This is the full frame scan of the image.

What do you think of it?

Which focal length do you think this was shot with?

Do you think this would benefit from a different crop?

This doesn't do a whole lot for me Warren. I would have tried rectangular unless you were going for the big red flower, then I would have gone closer, and maybe blurred out the background more. No idea of focal length, 35? 50?

I might try cropping in on the red flower, but it might lose some sharpness.

Thanks Ted. I originally cropped this in Photoshop, closer and to a square format, just showing the foreground flowers. After looking at that for a while, it didn't do much for me. So I decided to post the whole original image to see if anyone can see anything worthwhile in it.

It's probably taken with the 24mm f2.0 Nikkor. I only have 2 wides that couple with the Nikon F2, a 24mm and a 35mm.
