Hitting the limit

Interior of Saint Ignatius Cathedral. Pushing what the camera and lens could do. It was pretty dark in there.

Canon 5D with a 16-35mm f2.8. Hand held. 16mm at f2.8 1/40 at ISO 1250.

Beautiful, I've always wondered what it looked like in that church. I never had a chance to go inside.

This is a great shot. Tom and I had gone to a friend's wedding yesterday. I was trying to capture a similar shot myself but there were too many people. I'll bet Tom took this at the rehearsal.

I really like the symmetry of the shot as well as how all of the lines lead right to the focal point of the church. A nice evenly lit shot and very clear. If I had tried this with my Nikon D70 it would be a lot grainier at the higher ISO. Nice!
