Columns and Bars

Nikon D100, Nikkor 35mm f2.0 ai

I chose to shoot this series using an old manual focus Nikkor prime lens, the 35mm f2.0, on my D100. I wanted to shoot with the "normal" angle of view, so using a 35mm lens with the D100's 1.5x crop factor works for this purpose.

I love these old lenses.

Those "old" lenses are still great. I've learned that the type of camera is almost incidental. You could have a funky lens (like on my Holga) and have a great photo. See? This is what the blog has done for me.

Oh, and nice photo.
