Plant Abstract
Panasonic DMC-G1, Lumix 14-45mm
The tilt-LCD screen came in handy here because it made it easy to do precise framing from directly over the plant.

And here is a picture of the whole plant. Does anyone know what this is? Is it related to a cactus?
We visited the area around the Conservatory of Flowers again today, and I got some more shots from here, this time with the Lumix G1 instead of the Nikon D100.

I think it's some kind of Agave - possibly Mescal Agave??
It does look like an Agave. Thanks Laurie :).
