While I like the reflection shot, I LOVE the wider shot!

First, the unusual and very striking yellow rope catch the viewer's attention. Then the ropes act as leading lines to the main subject, the red hulled ship. The colors of the these two features (the rope and ship hull) balance each other perfectly while the rest of the image appears to be almost monochromatic in comparison.

It's a very well composed shot with excellent color balance (using color to balance the image).

Did you shoot this with your A620? If so, I can safely say that you've mastered this camera.

I would love to hear your thought process (if you had one) when you composed this shot.
