High Wire Act
Nikon D100, Nikkor 85mm f1.8DWe were walking in Palo Alto's Barron Park neighborhood when I saw this squirrel running on an overhead wire. There were a lot of squirrels out that day. Luckily, I was shooting with my AF 85mm or I might have missed this opportunity.

awwww -- such a cute picture :) You can see him lifting his little back left leg for his next step!
They are very skilled runners! I have seen one fall only once, from a tree. It took me by surprise. I think I had come to a point where I believed they never fall... apparently not though, lol
