Good Catch

Nikon F2s, Nikkor 105mm f2.5 ai, Ilford XP2 Super

It was a beautiful day yesterday. I went to Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park to finish off this roll of Ilford XP2 that I've had for a while in my Nikon F2s. Cranes are regular visitors to the park's lakes. There are plenty of small fish for them to eat.

Is this the same crane as the one in Martin's picture from two years ago? Probably not :).

I am in awe of this shot! I love the white!! Such a beautiful bird! And the rippled water is great -- I guess he JUST found lunch :)

I have never seen a white crane but now I would really love to.

Martin's pic is terrific too!

Both great shots :)

Reminds me of a Chinese painting. Too bad the crane has something in it's beak.

It was a little fish that was still wriggling.
