Hills and Shadows
Panasonic DMC-G1, Lumix 45-200mmLooking east from Dante's View, Death Valley, it was close to sunset.
There should have been more snow in the surrounding mountains, but is has been a dry winter.

The varied tones of this unique landscape are well captured Warren. Both sunrise and sunset each offer unique lighting and this image highlights the golden sunset very well.

Wow very other-worldly. The foreground kind of looks like a squid lying there... Death Valley for him... :O

Very well done! Wonderful composition - I love the triangle shapes, and especially the tiny figures at the intersection of the triangles.
