Actually this was an image of some Merced river foam that was actually frozen. Interesting texture, I thought.

Dolph Brust said...: Dan, this is a very interesting photo. I like the knots in the fallen tree, the reflections in the back of the pond, and the frozen waves. All this makes for an interesting image to look at and realize nature in action, even if frozen.
