Above and beyond the call of duty Lena, spectacular images, I especially like the teepee with the northern lights. Tells us how you handled the cold and still capture these wonderful images.

Hi Dan,

I was followed him teaching to set it up first, M30second, F3.5, ISO800, but "M" was hard to focus point in the dark at night, so I changed to 'A' aperture priority auto. Tripod is necessity and used the release to press.

That,s my handle in the cold shot at Northern Light...:-)

By the other of dresses suggestion, in the weather was extreme cold ( 0-/44 degrees ) I am wearing 4 layers warm pants and clothes and face mask and scarf, and brought chemical heating pads put in the shoes, but still did not work for the cold weather... I Think it work well is I inspire the scene and I like the cold weather, at that moment I was fallen in the fantastic nature..and devoted photography, otherwise I can not passed by the weather, I totally fell in...i am proud myself have been challenged it...

The cabin scene has a magical Christmas-y feeling to me... Like Santa is riding his sleigh up there in the green air..... I love that the smoke overlaps with it too. Twinkling stars.... Superb!
