MF Film with Half Tones

This is Andrew Romanoff's place on Tomales Bay, he is the last living member of the Russian Royal family and a great guy.
Drakes beach on a day that saw no sun, so I added a half tone to liven it up a bit.
All shot with Mamiya RF 6x7 illford 400 43mm 4.5 lens

Really nice Dan! The grass in the water of the first one serves well to add that third layer of depth (far hillside, focus on the dock, and grass just beneath your line of sight!). The half tones look awesome in both :)

We always wondered about the Romanoff place whenever we drive by. Is it a residence? We always thought it might be a restaurant (because it looks so ornate).

Great composition and nice positioning of the reflection on the Drakes beach shot!

Thanx Warren, that is his studio and apartment. I have his latest book of drawings. You might be thinking of the place that burned down a few years back. Middle European food very good. They are trying to get there place back up.
