Target Practice
Nikon D100Someone decided to use this Shell Gasoline sign for target practice.
I just thought the rusty bullet holes contrasted nicely with the sign's color and pattern.
This was seen in Bodie, CA.

Interesting photo -- eye catching yellow, red gets you next and you read the SHELL sign and try to make out the word beneath... and then your eyes settle on the intruding holes and the rust pops out. "oh, yep, that's rust all right -- such a different texture"
Well, that's what it did for me anyways, LOL.
Hm, yeah, and now I'm thinking I'd wanna get the heck outta there.. bullet holes and all...
