Bike in B&W

HTC One X

Sometimes, I'm just in the mood for a black & white picture. LOL.

Sometimes my cell phone takes amazingly nice pictures. Of course, for this one, I did a bit of post processing in Lightroom, as I do for just about all my shots.

Is anyone seeing these posts, or is this place dead?

I love a good B&W, too! :-)

Very nicely seen - a simple but pleasing composition.

I'm relieved that someone saw this, otherwise posting here would be pointless. :) Thanks Steve for the comment, Steve.

Swiftcurrent Lake, Glacier National Park

Lumix LX5

Taken May 2015 at Glacier National Park. We were lucky to see the lake in the morning before the wind picked up and messed up the reflections.

Rest Stop

HTC One X Cell Phone

Shot this scene at Ocean Beach the other day... :)

I noticed this composition as I was resting on a bench facing the ocean.

View of SF from North Vista Point

Lumix G5, Lumix 20mm f1.7

We stopped at the north end of the GG Bridge to see the last of the parade of ships for Fleet Week. I haven't taken out the Lumix 20mm lens for a while, and I'm still amazed by the great IQ from this lens.

What a great composition! I like the sinuous coastline you used as a leading line to draw my eye into the photo.

Photo Vision 2

Dan got one of me from the same spot, shooting from almost the same vantage point. My shot on top here.

Collaborative Diptych #1

Last December (2014), Dan and I went on a photo outing to downtown SF. Between the two of us, we came up with almost 50 selected pictures. I was deciding how to present them to show our different points of view, and I decided to try using the diptych format in those cases where we photographed the same subject. It was a fun outing, and it has taken me a while to finally get around to showing them. Dan left it up to me to choose from his collection.

What do you think?
